Stefon Diggs is suing a social media influencer who alleged he drugged, sexually assaulted, and even plotted to murder him. The New England Patriots’ wide receiver has dismissed the accusations as complete fabrications, and he’s now set to address the issue legally.

According to an exclusive report by TMZ Sports, the lawsuit was filed on Oct. 1, 2025, with Diggs accusing Christopher Blake Griffith of a sensational tale about him. The story is said to have been tied to an alleged incident at Diggs' Rockville, Maryland, home in May 2023.

In his claims, Stefon Diggs noted that he, Griffith and other influencers went to a local club after a charity basketball game in Washington, D.C., before making their way to his home. He further noted that he headed to his bedroom afterward, while his assistant told Griffith to leave.

In the summer of 2025, more than two years after the charity basketball game, Diggs claims Griffith publicly unleashed a series of outrageous falsehoods about the night. The wide receiver also claimed that he was falsely accused of a supposed violent episode faced by the influencer days afterward.

Christopher Griffith’s attorney claims he is ready to present evidence against Stefon Diggs

Ahead of the legal proceedings on the allegations made by Christopher Griffith against Stefon Diggs, TMZ Sports reached out to the defendant's attorney, Jake Lebowitz, for details. Lebowitz made it clear that his client is ready to present evidence of his claim against the wide receiver.

"Mr. Griffith is looking forward to showing the world in Court that regardless of the fairy tale fabricated by Mr. Diggs' high-priced New York Lawyers, he is the victim of Mr. Diggs' unwanted sexual advances and his brother's violent attacks," Lebowitz said.

In his lawsuit, Diggs is seeking damages and attorney fees, which were not specified, for the false claims made against him by Christopher Griffith. It remains unknown when the court proceeding is set to begin, but it's expected to attract significant attention within and outside the NFL world.
