The Forge Gargantuan guide

The Forge is an action RPG that allows you to enter various caves to extract rare Ores. You can do so by weathering the rocks found inside. On December 25, 2025, the Roblox title released its Frostpire Expanse update, which added a new island featuring two caves: Spider Cave and The Peak.

Inside The Peak, you can find the second rarest ore in the game, called Gargantuan. This guide will teach you everything about its mining and usage.

What is Gargantuan in The Forge?

Gargantuan is a Divine-tier ore introduced via the Frostpire Expanse update on December 25, 2025. It has a similar appearance to any celestial, spherical body, having several yellow-to-orange-colored rings arranged in a horizontal plane. Along with being one of the rarest ores, it has a high forging multiplier that helps enhance your craft's stats.

To mine for Gargantuan, you must enter The Peak on the Frostpire Expanse island, which is currently the endgame area. Moreover, you need a pickaxe that has a mining power of more than 620.

• Rarity: Divine
• Chance: 1/333333 chance of obtaining while mining on the Large Ice Crystal.
• Multiplier: 25x
• Price: Can be sold to Greedy Cay NPC for $624.38.
• Trait: +35% chance for 50% weapon damage AOE Explosion. 30% chance to burn for 20% weapon damage per second for 2 seconds on attack

How to mine Gargantuan in The Forge

Step 1: Unlock the Frostpire Expanse

The Frostpire Expanse is the new island that can be unlocked once you’ve reached EXP Level 70. To achieve this faster, you can complete the quests from the previous worlds, explore the caves to complete your index, and unlock achievements.

Upon reaching EXP Level 70, you can cast the Portal that was given by the Wizard NPC while clearing the Tutorial quests. Using it, you can teleport to the Frostpire Expanse island.

Step 2: Unlock Prismatic Pickaxe

Gargantuan can only be mined by weathering the Large Ice Crystal rocks found inside The Peak. To start mining, you need a Pickaxe that possesses a mining power of above 620. This can be achieved by unlocking the Prismatic Pickaxe bearing the following stats:

• Price: $2,000,000
• Mining Power: 650
• Mine Speed: +20%
• Luck: +72%
• Rune Slots: 4

To purchase and unlock the Prismatic Pickaxe, you have to reach beneath the Lake to the left of the Frostspire Expanse village. To purchase it, you’ll need 2 B along with a Mosasaursit, which can be obtained by mining the Ice Wall rock found in front of the Prismatic Pickaxe.

Step 3: Enhance your luck

The Prismatic Pickaxe already has a high luck boost to claim better odds of dropping Gargantuan; you can attach Miner Shards to it by visiting the Runemaker. Moreover, you can also deploy the Luck Totem.
