The players mentioned above were initially listed as probably ahead of the battle of the top 10 sides. Furthermore, according to the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, at least five Texas Tech players are expected to miss Saturday's game. They are: wide receivers T.J. West, Leyton Stone, and Roy Alexander, offensive lineman Hunter Zambrano, and defensive lineman Skyler Gill-Howard.

The rest of the Red Raiders will look to encourage their troops to a famous victory on Saturday.
