Terrion Arnold recorded the first interception of his NFL career in the 27-24 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. The second-year cornerback turned a would-be catch for Vikings wide receiver Jalen Nailor off a pass from J.J. McCarthy to his inaugural pick as a pro.

With 47 seconds left before halftime, Nailor attempted to secure the pass across the middle by pinning the ball to his hip. However, by the time he and Arnold tumbled to the turf at Ford Field, the Lions' defensive back had wrestled possession away at the Lions’ 39-yard line.

In his appearance on the “St. Brown Podcast” on Wednesday, Terrion Arnold disclosed he had dreamed about making a pick the night before the Vikings game. The cornerback saw the breakthrough coming after waiting 22 regular-season games before his first interception.

“This is crazy, walking you through it in my head,” Arnold said. “The day before, that night or whatever, I had a dream. I never had this dream, because I don't even dream. So I had a dream that I caught a pick. The dream went like I caught a pick, and I had jumped the curl route, and it's the next day.”

“So when this happened, I'm talking to my pops before the game, talking to my granddad before the game, nine o'clock in the morning, I said, Pops, I wasn't even gonna tell anybody this, but I had a dream. I caught a pick. He's like, you might catch.”

Terrion Arnold returned early from injury to get his first interception

Terrion Arnold returned to the Lions lineup on Sunday after missing two games due to injury. He was initially said to be sidelined for a long period by Dan Campbell after his injury against the Cincinnati Bengals in October. However, a second opinion gave a positive update.

“The second opinion came back, and it sounds like it could be promising, but that's no guarantee either," Campbell said in October. "So, we're kind of in this wait-and-see, and we'll hold off here a little bit and just see where he goes."

The early return from injury turned out to be one to remember for Terrion Arnold with the interception. The cornerback also left the game against the Vikings due to a back injury and was listed as questionable to return. However, he re-entered the game and was able to see it out. No update was given on the injury after the game.
