"I think Punk needs your help," "Need to reunite soon" - Fans erupt after top AEW duo fires shots at The Vision after WWE RAW

A major AEW duo has just seemingly referenced CM Punk following WWE RAW yesterday. With this, they had also fired shots at The Vision. Fans have reacted to this and wished for them to be the ones to come to Punk's aid.

Last night, Punk came out for the first time as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, after winning the title at Saturday Night's Main Event last weekend. He was confronted by both Logan Paul and The Vision, but got into a brawl with the latter to start the show. He then faced them in a tag team match later in the night, with Jey Uso by his side.

During their match, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed connected with a Shatter Machine to CM Punk. One of FTR's members, Dax Harwood, one of the pioneers of the move, took to X/Twitter and claimed that his version with Cash Wheeler was still the better one.

Fans have reacted to this with some fans claiming that it would be nice for Punk and FTR to reunite in WWE, as they were a trio in AEW before the Straight Edge Superstar departed from the company. Others expressed how they enjoyed seeing the three of them in the ring in the past.

One claimed that CM Punk probably had no problem with Dax using him in his post, given how they were friends in real life.

WWE acknowledges CM Punk's new milestone

The Second City Saint has won back the World Heavyweight Championship after his disappointment at SummerSlam, which saw Seth Rollins successfully cash in his Money in the Bank contract that same night.

Last night on RAW, he made his entrance as the only person within the company to win the original and new iteration of the iconic belt.

It seems like CM Punk is set to begin a feud with Logan Paul for the title after The Maverick decked him with a right hand last night. It remains to be seen how this feud will develop as the weeks pass.
