While Auburn University continues its search for its next head coach, the buzz around Hugh Freeze’s firing has amped up, especially with news that his daughter has left an angry message for the university.

According to AL.com, Freeze’s daughter, Madison, posted a TikTok video blasting the university for firing her father.

“People can say what they want about money,” she said. “Not enough money that can make you feel like this was worth it or we wanted this to happen.”

“We came here hoping to restore a program, and we were promised four years,” she said, “and that didn’t happen.”

“I get that people didn’t see the results that they wanted in three years, but we all knew that this was gonna be much longer than a three-year rebuild,”  she added. “This industry is very tough.

There was no improvement in Freeze’s offense since has arrived on the Plains. Many thought this would be the year the Tigers turned the corner and became a contender in the SEC, especially with the addition of former Oklahoma quarterback Jackson Arnold, but it was not to be.

With the exception of a few games, such as Baylor and Arkansas, the Auburn offense has been nonexistent. Freeze was known as an offensive genius and quarterback guru in the past.

But his magic never rubbed off on this offense or his quarterbacks, which is why he now sits in the unemployment line.
