Brown undergoing a dental procedure midweek, has raised a few eyebrows, although the Eagles have secured their playoff berth. Despite an indifferent season, the Eagles have an outside chance of the No. 1 seed in the NFC if they win their remaining games and they will hope their star wide receiver is available for the penultimate game of the season on Sunday.

Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown called out team's lackluster offense this season

Much like the Eagles, their wide receiver has also had an indifferent season, especially with the defending Super Bowl champions focusing on the passing game.

AJ Brown grabbed headlines last month for his comments amid rumors of a potential rift in the locker room.

“It’s not just solely about my situation. I want to win, too,” Brown said. “I think if we’re really focused on winning and doing our job, we can’t just keep slapping a Band-Aid over the defense doing their job and getting us out of trouble. At what point are we going to pick up our slack as an offense? “That’s what I’m getting at. It’s not about, ‘I don’t care about winning, all I care about is stats.’ No. It’s been week after week sometimes we’re not doing our job on offense. You can’t keep slapping a Band-Aid over that and expect to win late in the year and think you’re going to go to that at the end of the year. It’s not going to f–king happen.”

Despite a drop in production from Brown this seaason, the three-time Pro Bowl delivered for the Eagles in their game against the Washington Commanders last week. Brown registered nine receptions for 95 yards, helping the Eagles clinch the NFC East.
