Sol Ruca is one of the brightest prospects in WWE’s women’s division. Following her victory on the recently concluded Saturday Night’s Main Event, legendary manager and wrestling historian Jim Cornette claimed he would volunteer to “wax” her to help her become a more polished wrestler.
Sol Ruca defeated Bayley on the December 13, 2025 event, marking the biggest victory of her young career. The match was an excellent one that allowed the former NXT Women's North American Champion to showcase her incredible athletic talent. The rising star came out on top after delivering a Sol Snatcher.
On his weekly podcast, Jim Cornette's Drive Thru, Jim Cornette reviewed the match, praising the 26-year-old while adding that she needs a little more polishing
“Did she know what this stuff was supposed to look like beforehand or has she started from scratch. And sometimes just because you can do all of the [moves], she does good athletic gymnastic things that show her gymnastic background but sometimes it does come off as, I think we said this about another one of the young ladies, like a gymnast doing wrestling. She does need polish. I will actually volunteer right now for free to go out to Sol Ruca's place and wax her up and down give her a good shine. She got a lot of potential there.”Sol Ruca lost a WWE Women’s United States title match on NXT
Sol Ruca looked to continue her momentum on the December 23, 2025, episode of NXT as she took on Chelsea Green in an attempt to win the WWE Women's United States Championship for the very first time.
The champion and challenger collided in the main event of the final show before the festive Christmas season as Sol started strong with a flurry of offense. The ringside was crowded with Zaria, Ethan Page, and Alba Fyre all present. Moose made his way towards the ring, attacking All Ego while Fyre made a crucial assist as the champion managed to retain the gold.
The night was not over as Zaria attacked Fyre and Green before Sol ended the night on a high note by dropping both of them with a Sol Snatcher. The match and the aftermath were further evidence of WWE’s faith in the former Women's Speed Champion as well as her innate talent and ability.
