Shedeur Sanders speaks on how his rookie season has went

For the Cleveland Browns, this season has felt different from the others, not in terms of team success; they are still among the league's bottom with a 3-12 record, but there is a different vibe around the team.

A significant reason for that has been the drama surrounding the team at the quarterback position, and that all started at last April's NFL draft, where the top draft prospect, Shedeur Sanders was not drafted until the fifth round by the Browns and the team also went on to draft Heisman finalist, Dillion Gabriel as well to add to a QB room that already had veteran Joe Flacco and former first round pick, Kenny Pickett.

With that many signal callers on the roster, Sanders started out getting the short end of the stick, being listed as QB4 on the depth chart. Since then, the quarterback has climbed his way up and been the starter for the team since Week 12, and when discussing his journey thus far, Sanders had this to say.

"I'm super appreciative that everything happened how it happened...If I were to look back from the Ravens game to now, I would say I improved in experience," Sanders said.

Sanders also later acknowledged that the way things went for him allowed him to learn more about the way of life.

Sanders' responses truly show how well he handles adversity, which should be a welcoming sight for Browns fans.

However, the season is not over just yet for Sanders and the Browns, as they will host the Pittsburgh Steelers for their last home game of the season in Week 16, then close out the 2025 season on the road against Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.
