“If you’re looking to upgrade to a real man, I’m available” - Randy Orton once flirted with wife of former WWE Champion

The former WWE Champion, Randy Orton, is currently out of action and hasn't been seen on television for a long time, and fans and pundits are now wondering when they will see the Viper back in the ring.

Orton is known as an Apex Predator who hunts his opponents. In 2013, the 45-year-old legend was at his peak, feuding with Daniel Bryan, who was riding a massive wave of success, while Randy was part of the Authority and the face of the company, while the Leader of the Yes Movement was struggling against the Authority.

While feuding with Bryan on an episode of Monday Night RAW in 2013, Orton confronted The Bella Twins and told Brie Bella, then Daniel's then-girlfriend and now-wife, that if she was looking to upgrade to a real man, he was available. But Brie rejected his option.

"You see what I just did out there... Well, Brie, you should care because what I just did out there, it's only a fraction of what I am going to do to your boyfriend, Daniel Bryan, but if you're looking to upgrade to a real man, I'm available... What you see standing in front of you right now is what a real man looks like, it is what a real champion looks like, it’s what the face of the WWE looks like. Something that your little goatface troll of a boyfriend, Daniel Bryan, will never ever be,” he said.

Randy Orton could return to WWE soon

The 45-year-old legend last appeared on Friday Night SmackDown before Crown Jewel: Perth, where he teamed up with Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes against Team Vision.

Since then, The Apex Predator has been away from the action, and he could return at Royal Rumble 2026 during the traditional Men's Rumble match. He could then turn heel and begin a much-awaited rivalry with his best friend and former faction mate, Cody Rhodes, crafting a perfect WWE WrestleMania 42 worthy storyline with the Undisputed Title as the final prize.

If booked accordingly, the saga between Orton and Rhodes could be a massive box-office draw and one of Cody's best feuds during his title reign.

That said, it will be interesting to see what plans the Triple H-led WWE creative team has in store for the Viper once he returns to the Stamford-based promotion.
