Cleveland Browns rookie Shedeur Sanders suffered his fourth loss as Cleveland's starting quarterback after a 23-20 defeat against the Buffalo Bills over the weekend. Sanders, who is 1-4 since taking over the starting role from fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel, has been under scrutiny for his performances over the last few games.

While the former Colorado star has been under the magnifying glass after being named the starting quarterback, his relationship with Browns coach Kevin Stefanski has been discussed since the start of the season.

Veteran analyst Skip Bayless added to their rumored strained relationship by saying that the rookie quarterback doesn't like the Browns coach on "The Arena: Gridiron."

"He's not in control of his fate enough in Cleveland to be able to stand up for himself and take a shot at the head coach... I bet behind closed doors Shedeur doesn't like Kevin Stefanski," Bayless said.

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski praised Sheduer Sanders for "good decisons" against Bills

While Skip Bayless claimed that Shedeur Sanders doesn't like Kevin Stefanski, the Browns coach defended the rookie quarterback for his performances this season after the defeat against the Bills on Sunday afternoon.

“It’s a process, and you certainly progress with each one of these tests that you get and each one of these moments and defenses that you go against,” Stefanski said. “Shedeur has made strides in a bunch of areas. Are there plays and times and things that he can do better? Absolutely. That’s why he’s working so hard. “I thought he made really good decisions throughout the game. You’re going to have your plays that there’s throws down the field, and if they’re not there, you check it down and you can make good yards. So I thought, by and large, good decisions.”

Despite the criticism, Sanders has shown encouraging signs in his recent outings. The Browns rookie, who entered Sunday's contest with a 52.2 percent pass completion rate, completed 69 percent of his passes for 157 yards against the Bills.
