Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson have turned plenty of heads with their relationship. However, the pair were ruthlessly trolled by fans on Monday after the rapper's prediction fell flat during the Dallas Mavericks' loss to the OKC Thunder.

In a clip shared by House of Highlights on X (formerly Twitter), the Houston-based artist was questioned on how many points Thompson would get against the reigning champions.

"He'd better drop all of it," she remarked. "No, he is going to do his best."

Despite her optimistic prediction, Thompson had a disastrous outing against the Thunder, dropping 8 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists during his 22-minute cameo. This led fans to troll the couple ruthlessly in the comments section.

A fan even suggested she was "dating Torey Craig again."

Although Craig and Megan Thee Stallion were never officially a couple, the former Chicago Bulls forward once appeared on a TikTok alongside the artist in 2024, although Stallion quickly deleted the clip.

Now officially a couple with Thompson, Megan Thee Stallion faced trolling from many fans over her prediction, though a few still showed their support for the pair.

The Mavericks have had a slow start to the season, with their recent loss to the Thunder dropping them to a 1-3 record. Similarly, Thompson hasn't had the best start, averaging 9.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists. The former NBA champion has found it tough from the floor as well, shooting just 34.2% overall and 28.6% from three-point range.

During the appearance, Stallion was asked about her relationship with Thompson and offered glowing praise to the former Warriors star.

Thompson appeared alongside the artist during the gala as she launched the Pete & Thomas Foundation, which is set to "provide resources" to children, women, senior citizens, and underserved communities worldwide.
