AEW star Marina Shafir put on a dominant performance this week. The star was in action this Wednesday on the Dynamite on 34 Street special episode.

Shafir faced Mina Shirakawa in a singles match this week. The match was made official last week after Mina called out the Death Riders member. An enraged Shirakawa sent a warning to Marina after the eight-woman tag team match on Dynamite last week. She wanted retribution for "Timeless" Toni Storm.

During the match, Shafir weathered Shirakawa’s initial flurry of attacks. He then turned the encounter in her favor with her power and toughness. Shirakawa fought back, but Shafir countered and locked in Mother’s Milk, forcing the Timeless Love Bombs member to pass out for the win. After the bell, Shafir applied the hold again. This prompted Toni Storm to rush in for the save, but she also got knocked out. Seeing the devastation, former WWE star Shayna Baszler promptly tweeted that it was possibly time for Marina to become a champion in the women's division. The two stars have a long history as they were part of The Four Horsewomen, which also featured Ronda Rousey and Jessamyn Duke.

"New champ time, methinks….@MarinaShafir," Baszler wrote.

Mina Shirakawa and Toni Storm recently defeated Marina Shafir

This week's encounter was another chapter in the saga of personal rivalry between the two stars. In fact, Marina Shafir has been in a personal rivalry with the Timeless Love Bombs for weeks.

Shirakawa and Storm faced the team of Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne on the December 3 episode of Dynamite. The babyface duo defeated the Mega Problems in the semi-finals of the AEW Women's Tag Team Championships tournament in the brutal Hardcore Holiday Death match.

With today's encounter in the books, it will be interesting to see how Shirakawa and Storm retaliate against Shafir in the coming weeks.
