Jimmy and Jey Uso appear to be back in business as a duo in the tag team division. On the go-home edition of WWE RAW before Saturday Night’s Main Event XLII, The Usos delivered a promo to make it official. Looking visibly frustrated by their recent string of losses, the twins made it clear they were done playing second fiddle and were ready to fight their way back to the top of the card.
This set them up for a brief feud with The New Day, which seemingly ended after stealing a pinfall victory over the heel duo last week. The Usos have eventually gotten a shot against AJ Styles and Dragon Lee for the World Tag Team Championship. The match is slated for the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW.
The creative team might have decided that Styles and Lee won't be dropping titles so soon. Therefore, there is a huge possibility that the promotion could have an unexpected twist that could lead to the titles not changing hands next week on the red brand.
In a massive turn of events, Jey Uso could turn heel on his brother during the match, embracing his dark side in the process. This could then allow AJ Styles and Dragon Lee steal the victory to retain the World Tag Team Titles.
Since the wrestling community has continued to fuel speculation about The YEET Master turning heel, Triple H and his team might consider developing this storyline by booking another feud between the twins. Interestingly, this could lead to Jimmy becoming a top fan favorite and Jey adopting a full-time heel role.
While it sounds unlikely, the possibility of this angle coming to fruition is not out of the question. Fans will have to wait until next week's episode of WWE RAW to see if the creative team eventually develops such a storyline.
Jey Uso could return to the World Title picture if The Usos eventually split on RAW
If the recent speculations eventually turn out to be true and The Usos finally go their separate ways on the upcoming episode of WWE RAW, Jey Uso’s path could take a very dark and intriguing turn.
With fans already buzzing about The YEET Master potentially snapping after a string of frustrating losses as a babyface, a heel turn on Jimmy might be exactly what he needs to jump back into the World Title picture.
However, this angle too is just speculative for now, but it would certainly shake up the main event scene should it come to fruition.
