Shawn Michaels congratulates surprising new champions

WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels congratulated recently crowned champions. The veteran posted a social media update to send a message to the stars.

Chelsea Green joined forces with fellow Canadian star Ethan Page earlier this year on NXT. At AAA Alianzas, the duo challenged Mr. Iguana and La Hiedra for the AAA Mixed World Tag Team Championship. Surprisingly, Green and Page emerged victorious and secured the gold in what was just their second match as a tag team.

Earlier today, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels took to X/Twitter to congratulate Chelsea Green and Ethan Page on winning the AAA Mixed World Tag Team Championship. The 60-year-old noted that he could not have been prouder of the two stars.

Wrestling veteran levels major allegations against WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels

A recent report from WrestleVotes suggests that former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion Candice LeRae has gotten a new role as a backstage producer in the Stamford-based promotion. The 40-year-old reportedly produced a match on WWE Main Event.

While speaking on a recent episode of Writing with Russo, former WWE head writer Vince Russo claimed that the inaugural WWE Women's Speed Champion got the role because of Shawn Michaels' influence, as LeRae was married to Johny Gargano, who was very close with The Heartbreak Kid. He further questioned the idea of a 100-pound female star producing wrestling matches.

Only time will tell if Candice LeRae steps away from in-ring action completely and puts her entire focus on the reported new role.
