After losing significant star depth, Devin Booker's Suns are in a spot where most expected them to be at this stage. They started the season with a 1-4 record, but have made an excellent recovery with back-to-back wins at home over Utah and San Antonio. Both games were lopsided.

Against the unbeaten Spurs, the Suns showed they can be a wildcard team against the best in the NBA. Phoenix held MVP and Defensive Player of the Year candidate Victor Wembanyama to only nine points and nine rebounds, while forcing six turnovers. It was one of the major factors behind its 130-118 win.

Offensively, Devin Booker led the charge with 28 points, while six others scored in double digits. The Suns' 34 out of 46 made shots were assisted. They dominated the 3-point line by converting 19 attempts. Against Golden State, it will be a different test as the Suns' perimeter defense would need to step up.

It could be a task without Dillon Brooks, sidelined due to a groin injury. Nevertheless, Grayson Allen and Ryan Dunn's availability should help Phoenix. Jalen Green (hamstring) will be another notable absentee for Phoenix.

Meanwhile, the Warriors, unbeaten at home, will be itching to get back on track after consecutive losses. Golden State struggled in the clutch due to its lack of execution on both ends. Against Indiana, the Warriors led by 11 (104-93) with 6:05 left in the fourth but lost 114-109, scoring only five points until the final whistle.

The Warriors also tied the game 109-109 with 56.5 seconds left. Jimmy Butler missed a go-ahead free throw, and on the other end, the Pacers' clinical execution allowed them to regain the lead. Steph Curry had 23 but shot only 8-for-23. He missed five shots in the final frame.

Golden State has managed such moments well at home and will hope to revive its form. The Warriors will have to battle it out without Al Horford (toe), Alex Toohey (knee) and De'Anthony Melton (knee).
