"See you in Santa Clara": Dave Portnoy makes bold Patriots Super Bowl prediction after Drake Maye-led team's upset win vs. Buccaneers

The New England Patriots won 28-23 at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to seize the solo lead in the AFC East on Sunday. And Dave Portnoy is a certifiably happy man, to the point of believing that something bold will happen for them.

In an X.com video posted from within the suite of Raymond James Stadium, the Barstool Sports founder predicted a Super Bowl appearance for the Foxboro-based franchise:

"What happened today: Patriots blow out the Bucs, first place in the division, Buffalo's down 14! It's back to the good old days! We'll see you guys in Santa Clara!"

Drake Maye was key to the victory, completing 16 of 31 attempts for 270 yards and two touchdowns against an interception. After the game, CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson informed him that the Buffalo Bills had lost 30-13 at the woeful Miami Dolphins.

He said the Patriots were thinking instead about the New York Jets, whom they will host this coming Thursday:

"We're not worried about Buffalo. We're worried about Thursday night. We got a big one."
