Sam Darnold's Seattle Seahawks beat the LA Rams 38-37 in an overtime thriller in Week 16 on Thursday night. The win ensured that the Seahawks will qualify for the playoffs. However, former NFL running back LeSean McCoy is still not too convinced of Seahawks quarterback Darnold.

During the "Speakeasy" show on Thursday, McCoy pointed out that the Seahawks were lucky to get the win over the Rams, while suggesting that Darnold was trying to sabotage his own team.

"Did y'all watch the game? They (Seahawks) got lucky with this game," McCoy said. "They play the Rams again and get blown out. That was a crazy game.

"He (Sam Darnold) was trying to do everything in his power to lose the game. Picks, bad reads, hold on to the ball, taking sacks, he was trying in his power, 'I don't want to win this game,' and somehow the Rams didn't put it away. So no, I do not trust Sam Darnold."

McCoy also said that he doesn't expect the Seahawks to make a deep run in the playoffs if Darnold leads their offense.

"I gotta be honest, if you trust in a guy like that, in the playoffs, the number one seed, soon y'all play, it's gonna be soon y'all play exit. Cancun on 3," McCoy said.

Darnold, who signed a three-year, $100.5 million contract with Seattle in the offseason, had his ups and downs against the Rams. The Seahawks QB went 22 of 34 for 270 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Darnold was also sacked four times.
