Rey Mysterio drops massive tease on WWE RAW; references Roman Reigns

WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio has a big task ahead of him this week on RAW. After getting hit by a stomp from Austin Theory last week on the red brand, a match between both Theory and Mysterio was set to take place this week on the show.

Ahead of the massive clash, the World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk met Mysterio backstage, just to let him know that the latter was covered against the numbers game of the Vision during the massive match. However, Mysterio dropped a major tease with some massive references during the segment.

The Hall of Famer stated that he wanted Punk to focus on the World Heavyweight Championship match he has next week, and that he had himself covered. Mysterio further stated that Paul Heyman wasn't the only one in the favour business, referencing the massive storyline where Heyman used Punk's favour at Survivor Series, which became the beginning of the end of the Bloodline.

With his tease, Mysterio made it clear that he might have a favour up his sleeve for his match against Austin Theory later in the night. A potential appearance from Roman Reigns could end up making headlines all around the world, leaving the world and the Vision stunned ahead of the New Year.

Will CM Punk have any favours next week on WWE RAW?

CM Punk is set for his massive World Heavyweight title defense against Bron Breakker next week on the red brand. The Best in the World might not have the numbers game on his side, but he might have the support of Rey Mysterio during his match. Further, if Roman Reigns returns to help the Master of 619 against the faction, the Tribal Chief might also have Punk's back. Time will now tell what WWE has in store for the star next.
