Others continued to tell Rodgers he should listen to his body and even predicted that this would put the team closer to having rookie Will Howard under center.

"we’re getting closer to will howard. yessssss. this is what’s going to happen. rodgers broke his wrist and he’ll be out for the season. rudolph will start and suck like usual for a few games then will howard will make his debut and take over and start the will howard era for the next 10 years. woo hoo," one fan said. "Rodgers is washed up at this point. Pittsburgh should have stuck with a younger guy instead of betting on his ego. Now they are stuck with Rudolph and no playoffs," another fan said. "Tough one, and I GET it, he's Aaron Rodgers, but at some point you just gotta listen to what the universe is telling you. How many season have to end with injury before we admit what Tom did isn't a blueprint for success," another fan said.

Aaron Rodgers left the field after going 9 of 15 for 116 yards and one touchdown. He carried the ball once for an 8-yard gain.
