NFL fans went after Justin Herbert following a subpar performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. The LA Chargers quarterback couldn't get things going against the AFC South team, which prompted Jim Harbaugh to bench him and send Trey Lance to the field in the fourth quarter.

Many fans reacted to the move on social media, with some bringing Maddison Beer to the conversation, as usual.

"Madison Beer ruined Herbert. He’s done," one fan said.

The Chargers entered the game as 2.5-point favorites (per ESPN Bet). The Jaguars dismantled them from start to finish, scoring at least seven points in each quarter.

Herbert went 10 of 18 for 81 yards against one interception. He carried the ball three times for 21 yards.

Trey Lance went 3 of 8 for 37 yards and added just one yard on three carries.
