Raise Animals is a tycoon simulator on Roblox where you can catch animals from different biomes and earn money by showcasing them in your zoo. Whenever you spawn into the minigame, these biomes will appear randomly on the map. On November 7, 2025, the game released its Ancient update, adding several pets, a new biome, an event, and an egg incubator.

This guide will familiarize you with the contents of the new update.

What's added in the Ancient update of Raise Animals?

The Ancient update has added the following to the game:

Cretaterra biome

Added as the fifth biome in the game, it allows you to unlock and tame several animals from the Mesozoic era. To unlock this biome, you can either expedite the minigame or purchase it from the map section by paying $5 million.

Similar to others, Cretaterra will spawn randomly between two biomes. You'll get to face more obstacles and tame bigger animals in this region, which makes it tougher to survive longer.

The game has added ten new animals that can either be hatched using the egg incubator or tamed manually in the Cretaterra biome:

  • Gallimimus (Basic)
  • Triceratops (Rare)
  • Ankylosaurus (Rare)
  • Pterodactyl (Epic)
  • Brachiosaurus (Epic)
  • Utahraptor (Legendary): Pack Hunt is the passive ability possessed by this animal. A Utahraptor can roar to summon a maximum of two packmates, which increases its speed by 20%.
  • Carnotaurus (Legendary): Relentless Charge is the passive ability of this animal. Whenever the ability is active, a Carnotaurus will charge ahead to collide with obstacles. With each successful collision, it can gain up to 175% speed.
  • Spinosaurus (Rainbow): It has a passive ability called Primal Frenzy, which lets it enter "Rage" for 15s after every 30 seconds, increasing its speed by 20%. While raging, it can smash obstacles and devour other animals on contact.
  • Tyrannosaurus Rex (Shine)
  • Mosasaurus (Exclusive)

Dino Egg Fall event

Similar to Meteor Fall, the Dino Egg Fall event occurs on the Cretaterra biome map. You can collect these fallen eggs and hatch them into rarer animals using the Incubation Pod.

Incubation Pod

It is the new machine placed near the shop area, and allows you to perform the following tasks:

Hatch eggs

You can hatch a collected egg by placing it in one of the incubator slots in the Incubation Pod. By purchasing more slots using Gems and Robux, you can incubate multiple eggs at a time.

Egg fusion

Fusing eggs will combine several eggs into one higher-tier egg. This will increase your chance to claim Rare and Legendary dinosaurs.

Exchange for DNA

The unlocked dinosaurs can instantly be exchanged for DNA. You can use the collected DNA to upgrade your eggs and improve their mutation rate. Higher DNA levels can grant you an enhanced chance of hatching Rare and Legendary dinosaurs.

New weathers

  • Meteor Fall: +800% Value
  • Prehistoric Storm: +1000% Value
  • Bioluminescent: +1200% Value
