CM Punk and Stephanie Vaquer are WWE's top champions on RAW. Punk holds the World Heavyweight Championship while La Primera is the Women's World Champion.
Jade Cargill reigns as WWE's Women's Champ while Cody Rhodes is in his second run with the Undisputed title. Many familiar names currently hold gold on both RAW and SmackDown.
What will change once 2025 turns into 2026? How long will current titleholders reign? Here are predictions for the next holder of each WWE title in 2026.
(Note: Next titleholders listed in bold)
#6. Tag Team Turmoil in 2026?
It feels like AJ Styles and Dragon Lee are just holding the titles for the Usos. WWE likes to push Jimmy and Jey over most of the roster, unless they face Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, or CM Punk. The Usos ring in the new year as champions.
As for the Wyatt Sicks, they've done next to nothing with their titles. Since the feud with the MFTs has dragged on for a few months, two of the MFTs will upend Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy.
The Women's Tag Team titles have been the best-booked set of tag team belts in 2025, largely due to who holds or is pursuing them.
WWE will want Rhea Ripley in a prominent spot come WrestleMania. Ripley and IYO SKY will take the gold from the Kabuki Warriors.
#5. The fate of the Women's Intercontinental and United States titles
The fact that Maxine Dupri won a singles title on the main roster before Raquel Rodriguez or Roxanne Perez is mind-boggling.
She's greatly improved in the ring, but the other two were already above average in the ring. Once they fail to win tag team gold, Roxanne Perez will focus on Dupri and dethrone her.
Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair will break up before they face each other at WrestleMania 42. Bliss will beat Green, and Flair will turn on her so she can win gold.
#4. Switching things up with the Intercontinental and US Championship
Ilja Dragunov continued the US title Open Challenge, but unfortunately, that's coming to an end. Since Carmelo Hayes backed him up and was screwed out of the title, he'll get another shot and dethrone The Mad Dragon.
The Intercontinental Championship is harder to predict. Dominik Mysterio has essentially held it since WrestleMania 41, as John Cena's detour was to check off a box and not to push the title forward.
It feels like bookers may want Papa Rey to dethrone his son, and that would be a massive mistake that sets the title back even further.
Officials have overpushed Je'Von Evans so much lately over other tenured veterans. He'll make a huge splash by winning the title before his 22nd birthday (April 29th).
#3. The Women's World and WWE Women's Championships
It feels like Jade Cargill won the WWE Women's title so she can eventually feud with and lose it to Bianca Belair. The EST has been out of action with a broken finger since April.
She'll return at the beginning of 2026 or in the Royal Rumble. However it happens, she'll probably earn another title shot at The Show of Shows and beat The Storm. As for who dethrones Stephanie Vaquer, it's a bit trickier.
WWE will want Ripley and Becky Lynch in prominent spots come April. Rodriguez will probably cost Liv Morgan if she gets a shot. Since it should happen closer to next summer, Becky Lynch will eventually dethrone Vaquer.
#2. Who finally beats Cody Rhodes?
WWE made a predictable and boring decision to have Cody Rhodes win back the Undisputed title from John Cena. Rhodes was already the face of the company.
A name like Bron Breakker or LA Knight could have seen their fortunes increase vastly had they had the honor of winning the belt. Drew McIntyre deserves another run, but is constantly on the losing end against The American Nightmare.
Roman Reigns isn't the answer, as he shows up less and less each year. Officials are hesitant to pull the trigger on a Sami Zayn title run.
Since he could have faced Rhodes but was mysteriously attacked, Jacob Fatu could be the man to return and finally put a different face in the title picture.
#1. A clear path for the World Heavyweight title
Seth Rollins and CM Punk were going to square off for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42. Rollins' injury put that on hold, facilitating the breakup of the Vision.
Bron Breakker gets a shot to win the belt on January 5th, but someone or something will cost him his opportunity. He could win the Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber match to get another chance.
However it happens, this whole feud has been to get Breakker to the World Heavyweight title. He'll beat The Best in the World at The Showcase of the Immortals.
