WWE has several longstanding ties with Hollywood and the entertainment industry. Interestingly, a 24-year-old wrestler from the Stamford-based promotion seems to have made a proposal to actress Jenna Ortega in a personal capacity. Moreover, Roxanne Perez has stated that she would like to work with the titular character of Netflix’s Wednesday.
Speaking in an interview with Metro, the Judgment Day member talked about the actress. She noted that she was inspired by the 23-year-old for achieving so much success at such a young age. Taking pride in their mutual Latina ethnicity, Perez even expressed that she would like to tag along with her someday.
“Just everything that she does, how young she is, she’s Latina. She’s killing it out there in the movie scene. I would love to tag with her!”Like Jenna Ortega’s character in Wednesday, Roxanne Perez also leans into a darker aesthetic. However, Roxy is still relatively tame compared to the students at Nevermore Academy.

Speaking in the same Metro interview, Roxanne Perez said that she would like to face CM Punk in a WrestleMania main event. The former two-time NXT Champion said this while discussing intergender matches.
She said that the World Heavyweight Champion would be her opponent of choice if she got to fight him, since he was her favorite growing up. Roxy also talked about her promo with the Second City Saint at WWE NXT last year, when Punk had made an appearance on the developmental brand as part of its move to the CW Network.
At the time, the Straight Edge Superstar was feuding with Drew McIntyre. During her promo, Perez landed a sharp jab on Punk and said that she should have been a fan of The Scottish Psychopath. The Prodigy noted that this was her favorite promo.
Although the Judgment Day member hasn’t crossed paths with CM Punk in official WWE shows so far, she once landed her finisher, Pop Rox, on Punk in Manchester, England, at a house show this year. It would be interesting to see if Perez will get her WrestleMania wish granted.
