Dominik Mysterio is involved in an on-screen romantic relationship with fellow member of The Judgment Day, Liv Morgan. However, there has been a lot of speculation about the self-proclaimed King of Luchadors potentially leaving the 31-year-old for another fellow RAW star.
Liv Morgan was forced out of action earlier this year in June due to a shoulder injury she sustained during a match. Amid the former Women's World Champion's absence from WWE television, Finn Balor brought former NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez to The Judgment Day, leading to fans believing that The Prodigy would eventually replace Morgan as Mysterio's new on-screen partner.
However, it did not happen, and Liv Morgan returned from injury at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames to help "Dirty" Dominik defeat John Cena to win back the WWE Intercontinental Championship. During an interview, Going Ringside's Scott Johnson asked Roxanne Perez, "What's going on with Dominik Mysterio?" The 24-year-old tried to dodge the question, praising Mysterio in her response and calling herself his friend like the rest of The Judgment Day besides Liv Morgan.
“He’s king of the luchadors. He’s double champ. I think that’s pretty much all that’s going on for Dominik Mysterio. He’s got his güerita. He’s got his best friends in the Judgment Day: me, Raquel, JD, Finn. So, yeah,” Perez said.Spoiler on Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes - Check Here!
When asked further, Roxanne Perez claimed that they had always been friends, and she did not know what the fans were trying to interpret wrongly. The Prodigy added that she would never get in between Mysterio and Morgan.
“Me and him have always been buddies. I don’t know what people are trying to misconstrue in there, but we’re just friends... I would never get in the way of him and his güerita. I would never,” Perez added.You can check out the entire conversation in the video below:
Dominik Mysterio reportedly got injured during recent match
At AAA Guerra De Titanes 2025, Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano were scheduled to face Penta and Rey Fenix. Unfortunately, Penta suffered a shoulder injury during his Last Time in Now Tournament match against Solo Sikoa. However, Rey Mysterio replaced the fellow masked man, further reigniting his rivalry with his son.
According to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, The Judgment Day member landed awkwardly while taking a DDT from his father. He added that the younger Mysterio could barely use his arm after the spot and likely suffered a shoulder separation. Alvarez opined that the AAA Mega Champion could be out of action for a while.
It could be a massive blow to Dominik Mysterio and The Judgment Day, as JD McDonagh has already been forced out of action due to injury.
