A.J. Brown received his ultimate wish on Monday afternoon, as the Philadelphia Eagles traded him to the top team on his wishlist: the New England Patriots

The Patriots’ WR trade couldn’t have come at a better time, as the franchise has been searching for the perfect Stefon Diggs replacement after releasing the four-time Pro Bowler in March. While speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Brown was asked about his recent injury issues, as the 28-year-old has dealt with knee problems dating back to his time with the Tennessee Titans.

Brown’s response is great news for the Patriots as they attempt to reach the Super Bowl for the second consecutive campaign.

“No injury,” Brown said, according to Masslive’s Karen Guregian report. “There’s nothing to worry about. I think this whole little ... you gotta understand where I came from, so any conversation about anything is going to come up.”

After the Tennessee Titans’ 2020-21 campaign, Brown had surgery on both of his knees. The Ole Miss product pushed through a left knee injury suffered before the start of the season, but endured a right knee setback during the Titans’ Week 1 contest vs. the Denver Broncos

The injury caused Brown to miss Tennessee's following two contests against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Minnesota Vikings. For the most part, though, Brown was healthy with the Titans and only missed six games in four seasons with the Eagles.

If Brown thinks the Patriots shouldn’t be concerned with health, the franchise should feel at ease in early June.
