Stars like Hailey Bieber, Meghan Markle, Alix Earle and more are hooked on viral K-beauty skincare brand Medicube.
And here at Page Six Style, we’ve slathered and sprayed countless beauty products over the years — so we knew we had to try the brand’s buzziest buys to see if they live up to the hype.
While the glow-giving Booster Pro was my first intro to the company — I tried it after seeing Kylie Jenner’s social posts — the skin-perfecting beauty tech piqued my curiosity about Medicube’s popular serums and pore pads, too. Since the range is so expansive, we had to narrow it down to a few bestsellers, but we will definitely be trying more in the future.
About Medicube
The accessibly priced skincare brand launched in 2017 — and within five years, it became Korea’s No. 1
dermocosmetic line, according to the company. It’s also taken the US by storm, becoming a top-selling brand on Amazon as well as expanding to mainstream beauty retailers like Ulta (and garnering plenty of famous fans along the way).
The line offers options tailored to a variety any skin concerns, from acne to anti-aging. It also makes devices like the Jenner-approved Booster Pro, which works synergistically with the skincare to increase radiance and elasticity for that coveted glass-skin effect.
Our Review
Medicube Zero Pore Pad
MedicubePros:
- Budget-friendly
- Comes with a hygienic pad picker
- Multi-benefit action
Cons:
- Maybe be too strong for certain skin types, but there’s also a mild version
When it came time to pick a few products to review, where else would we start than Amazon’s No. 1 beauty bestseller? We were immediately intrigued by these toner pads after hearing Kyle Richards rave about them.
Chock-full of exfoliating acids to counter sebum, smooth and soften skin — and of course, minimize pores — the double-sided pads also have calming lavender, and are offered in a mild version for sensitive skin types as well.
More than 100,000 were sold last month on Amazon alone, an impressive feat.
Key Ingredients: White willow bark, AHA, BHA, panthenol, sodium hyaluronate, soothing botanical extracts
Elana Fishman, Style & Shopping Director: “Before using these exfoliating AHA/BHA pads for the first time, I momentarily panicked and wished I’d ordered the version for sensitive skin instead, since my complexion is pretty fussy and acne-prone. But I needn’t have worried: Even the original formula’s remarkably gentle.
“I’ve been incorporating these into my routine two or three nights per week (skipping my prescription retinoid on those evenings) and really enjoying them; my skin feels soft, smooth and calm afterward, not at all stripped or tight.
“To be clear: No lotion or potion will actually make your pores disappear, but mine did seem less pronounced after using a pad. Better yet, I noticed my makeup went on much more smoothly the morning after. It’s easy to see why these are an Amazon bestseller: They’re effective, economical and really easy to use.”
Elana before (left) and after using Zero Pore Pads.Hannah Southwick, Commerce Associate Editor: “The dual-sided pad is such a smart design, and even upon first application, you can truly feel it seeping into your pores. That said, it does sting a bit initially, so the gentle version might be a better fit for me (and those with more sensitive skin).”
Medicube Collagen Night Wrapping Mask
MedicubePros:
- Supports skin elasticity, tone and radiance
- Gives skin a glassy glow
Cons:
- Needs to be applied over moisturizer for best results
In addition to hydrating and plumping skin, the Collagen Night Wrapping Mask provides anti-aging benefits and can help you wake up with “firmer, more resilient skin,” per the brand.
Key Ingredients: Niacinamide, collagen, adenosine, ceramides
Erica Radol, Commerce Reporter: “This is a lightweight, clear gel that smooths onto skin easily. To get a really satisfying peel, you’ll want to put it on thicker, but I don’t mind a combination of rubbing or rinsing to remove.”

Erica Radol “The Collagen Night Wrapping Mask definitely gives spa vibes, and it shrinks pores while helping skin look visibly firmer. I’ve been hesitant to sleep in it, since I’m a light sleeper and was concerned it might interfere with my Zzzs; however, it seems to work very nicely if I just leave it on for a few hours while watching TV or relaxing.
“It’s meant to be used over your skincare routine and kind of sandwiches everything in, supercharging your results. I can see why Meghan Markle likes the PDRN Pink Capsule Collagen Cream from the same line!”
Medicube Azelaic Acid Exosome Shot 2000
MedicubePros:
- Calms redness, even post-breakouts
- Improves skin texture, giving it a healthy glow
Cons:
- Even fans say it can cause a slight tingle
Medicube’s Exosome Shot range offers concentrated serums for various skin goals; the Pink Collagen version addressed elasticity and brightening, while the Azelaic Acid option is aimed at calming and clearing the complexion.
Key Ingredients: Azelaic acid, exosomes, niacinamide
Michelle Moezam, Senior Social Media Manager, Commerce: “It’s no lie, there is a little tingle that you feel when applying this product, but it’s overshadowed by its penetrating qualities.”

“My skin has never felt softer! I’ve been using it for two weeks consistently and am excited to see what the one-month mark will look and feel like.”
Medicube Rosemary PDRN Cooling Thickening Shampoo
MedicubePros:
- Strengthens hair and refreshes the scalp
- Offers a gentle tingle
- Can help with dandruff
Cons:
- No cons detected yet!
Made for all genders, this volumizing, strengthening shampoo is one of the newest releases from the brand.
Key Ingredients: Rosemary, PDRN, amino acid complex
Erica Radol, Commerce Reporter: “I usually use pricey hair care — like the Taylor Swift-approved Christophe Robin volumizing line, which is fantastic. So, I was (again) pleasantly surprised when I noticed visibly increased volume at the roots of my hair after using this!
“The scalp tingle is super mild; I don’t care for anything too strong, but this was a nice sensation. Shampoos can dry my scalp, and this did not at all. Some volumizing shampoos can dry strands, even leading to breakage, but Medicube’s Rosemary PDRN formula truly has made my hair look healthier.”
Is it worth It?
As a group, we concur that Medicube is terrific, especially for its price point, and offers a wide range of products to address many skin and haircare concerns.
