The Denver Broncos lost 34-20 to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, leaving the race for the AFC's No. 1 seed wide open. Trevor Lawrence had his way with the Broncos defense, accounting for all four touchdowns at Emperor Field.
Alex Singleton was asked about the unit's inability to slow down Lawrence and the Jaguars offense. The Denver linebacker refused to accept any narrative that downplayed his team's Super Bowl chances; however, he acknowledged the defense's mistakes.
"We missed a lot of tackles today, you know, making those tackles and stuff like that," Singleton said to reporters. "Just little tiny things that got us to a 12-win team. I'm not gonna sit here and let you guys sh*t on our parade. We have two games to go to be the No. 1 seed in the AFC."•

Jacksonville was in control for most of the game. It took the lead late in the first quarter when Lawrence connected with Parker Washington for a 12-yard touchdown. Broncos quarterback Bo Nix responded in the second quarter, and the team scored a field goal to take the lead for the first and only time.
The Jaguars went ahead five minutes later and led 17-10 at halftime. It was the same story in the second half as both teams doubled their points and Jacksonville secured its 11th win of the season.
Lewis Hamilton sends powerful message to Broncos despite loss
Seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton was in the stands to cheer for the Denver Broncos against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Ferrari driver penned a message for the team on his Instagram story following the loss.
"Tough day today but I’m so proud of this team. Even on a hard day like today I’m inspired by how you all support one another and continue to show up. Remember it’s not how we fall, it’s we get back up. Onto the next one," Hamilton wrote.Hamilton is a part-owner of the Broncos. He bought a 1% stake in August 2022. It was the first time the F1 driver attended a Denver game at Empower Field at Mile High.
