Jaxson Dart is having the worst performance of his rookie campaign against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. The New York Giants rookie quarterback recorded his second-highest passing yards last week. However, things haven't gone his way in Week 16.

Dart only completed 1 of 5 passes for two yards and one interception in the first half. He has also been sacked three times, one more than the yards he has thrown. NFL insider Dov Kleiman shared his stats on X.

"Jaxson Dart at halftime against the Vikings: 1-of-5, 2 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT, 58.0 passer rating. What is going on with him?? 😬" Kleiman tweeted.

The Giants finished the first half with a loss of four passing yards. Dart recorded two rushing attempts for seven yards. They are on an eight-game losing streak after Dart led them to two wins in his first three starts.

He has a 2-7 record since taking over the QB1 job in Week 3. He missed two games after suffering a concussion against the Chicago Bears on Nov. 9.

Jaxson Dart's Giants trail to Vikings at home

It was a quiet first quarter at MetLife Stadium between the Vikings and the Giants, as Minnesota's field goal was the only scoring play. The scoring picked up in the second quarter. The Giants put themselves on the board with a Ben Sauls field goal.

Weil Richard converted another field goal to give the Vikings a 6-3 lead. J.J. McCarthy rushed in for a 12-yard touchdown to make it 13-3. Tyler Numbin brought New York back into the game after returning a fumble for a touchdown. However, Jaxson Dart has to shake off his struggles so New York can snap its eight-game losing streak.
