WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley sent shockwaves into the wrestling world when he publicly parted ways with the Stamford-based promotion last week. The legendary star revealed that he did not want to be associated with a company having a close relationship with American President Donald Trump.
On a recent edition of his Kliq This podcast, another WWE Hall of Famer, Kevin Nash, stated that he understood the King of Hardcore's standpoint. The 66-year-old pointed out that he also got several messages asking if he would do the same. However, Nash added that he viewed McMahon-Levesque as his family despite their political differences.
"I understand it. And if that’s how Mick feels, it’s like, I get it from Mick’s standpoint. But for me personally, because I had some people text me like, ‘Are you going to follow suit?’ I’m like, well, let me explain my position… I look at the McMahon-Levesque; I look at them as family. Like, that’s it. They’re just family to me… they’re my Republican family," Nash said.Kevin Nash further clarified that unlike Mick Foley, he would not cut ties with World Wrestling Entertainment, stating his deal was with the global juggernaut and not Donald Trump.

"My deal is with the WWE. My deal isn’t with MAGA. My deal isn’t with Trump. And I don’t see those sensibilities coming through my television screen when I watch Netflix and when I watch Raw and when I watch the Saturday Night’s Main Event," Nash added. WWE legend Kevin Nash recalls his wife's day out with Linda McMahon
Speaking about the McMahons on his Kliq This podcast, Big Daddy Cool revealed that Linda McMahon once took his wife out to visit New York while he was shooting a commercial.
Nash added that he would forever be grateful to her for taking care of his wife. The veteran iterated that he viewed the McMahons as family.
"When I was Diesel, they flew my wife up to New York City. Linda [McMahon] took my wife out for the day, like a girls’ day out. They had dinner at the Rainbow Room that night. That was my wife’s first visit to New York City while I was busy doing a commercial and other things. Linda took care of my wife, and I’ll forever be grateful for that because my wife was really nervous… I look at the McMahons as family. They’re just family to me," Nash said.
