Former NFL wideout Emmanuel Acho has refused to credit Jake Paul for fighting former two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, following his massive payday. The Paul vs. Joshua bout on Friday went to six rounds, but the fight was stopped when Paul failed to beat the count following repeated knockdowns.

While some have praised Paul's courage to compete against Johua, Acho has begged to differ.

"From a naked eye, it just wasn't a contest," Emmanuel Acho said on "Speakeasy" on Saturday night. "I have not seen a boxer clutch somebody's leg, fall in the ring as many times as I've seen Jake Paul. If you want to give him credit for stepping into the ring, the only reason I can't is because of $92 million.

"I'm sure every person that has been boxing for six years would step into the ring and get smacked for $92 million. I'm not going to applaud a fish for swimming and I'm not going to applaud a boxer for boxing. Jake Paul's a boxer right now, he's no longer a YouTube sensation. ... I'm not going to applaud him for doing what he does, and geting paid $92 million for doing it."

On Thursday, Emmanuel Acho discussed how LA Rams wideout Puka Nacua is being affected by his NFL stardom. Nacua, who was drafted in 2023, made headlines last week when he made an antisemitic gesture during a livestream with internet personalities Adin Ross and Mikyle Rafiq.

"Puka came in as this uber, humble, hard-working, no trouble, no drama, on or off the field, I think he played at BYU (before he) came into the league," Acho said on the "Speakeasy" show. "Super mature, no drama, no nothing. He was just quiet; second fiddle to Cooper Kupp, was going to do his work. He was kind of that janitor player ... 12-24 months and Puka done changed up. "He got drama off the field. You know what I'm saying? It is hitting the timeline, hitting TMZ. Relationally ... I just think we're watching Puca deal with success. And on the outside in, it looks like it's getting to his head."

Earlier on Thursday, Nauca apologized for his actions on the livestream.

However, after the Rams' 38-37 overtime loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday, Nauca seemingly took a dig at the referees on X for a controversial decision, but later deleted his tweet.
