American far-right political commentator Nick Fuentes recently opened up about who he thinks should take over from Donald Trump to be the next President of the United States. On Monday, October 27, 2025, the 27-year-old activist appeared on The Tucker Carlson Show and talked about his love for the Trump administration.
When the host, Tucker Carlson, asked Nick Fuentes to share his thoughts on the next person whom he would like to see in the presidential seat, and questioned:
“So, who’s going to be president? Who should be president next?”Nick Fuentes replied:
“Who should be president? Well, Ye. Of course, Kanye.”During his sitdown with the 56-year-old American commentator and host, Nick expressed his fondness for Kanye West, who had previously run for the White House. Tucker Carlson also asked Nick Fuentes about his experience of having dinner with Donald Trump and Kanye West.
“It was surreal. Because those are my two heroes. Those are my two like number one heroes of all time. I’ve always been a Kanye West fan… The music, the fashion, everything,” Fuentes explained. For the unversed, Kanye West reportedly made his first attempt at running for president in 2020. The rapper appeared on the ballot in 12 states. However, he collected 60,000 votes out of 160 million potential voters.
Meanwhile, the Donda rapper, who was reportedly late to file for candidacy in other states in 2020, also announced his Presidency for 2024. However, Ye’s personal attorney Bruce Marks at that time told Rolling Stone in 2023 that, “He’s not a candidate for office in 2024.”
Nick Fuentes gushes about having Thanksgiving dinner with Trump and Ye

“It was funny because it was literally Thanksgiving dinner… I mean, the way that it went was sort of interesting. Ye is sort of shy. He deeply admires Trump. He loves Trump. And I like that about him because Ye really admires anybody that’s an industrialist. He loves builders, visionaries, architects. He’s very into that. So, he has a deep regard for Trump.”Nick Fuentes also noted that his dinner with Trump and Ye began on an “awkward” note because the rapper “wouldn’t talk” due to shyness. While the activist claimed that Donald Trump was trying to get Ye to talk, he complained the moment was “kind of like a boomer moment.”
Meanwhile, Nick also revealed how he impressed Donald Trump. The activist boasted that the US president called him “hardcore” and Ye was “beaming with pride” for his political thoughts.
“I was trying to just get like get his (Trump’s) mojo back, you know, and gas him up a little bit. And, so that’s how it went between me and him… He (Ye) was beaming with pride cuz Trump turns to him and says, ‘Who is this guy? This guy’s great.’ And he was like, ‘Right.’ And I was like, ‘This is just this is amazing.’”Meanwhile, Donald Trump invited Ye to have the Thanksgiving dinner at the Mar-a-Lago club in Florida in 2022. While the dinner was just meant for Ye and Trump, according to NBC News, the rapper arrived at the table with three guests, including Nick Fuentes.
