Reputed insider believes Rockstar could release a new GTA+ tier
At the very beginning, a change in GTA+ subscription was noticed on SteamDB (Steam Database website) on November 3, 2025. The update history stated that this change affected nine items in the package, which were the additional games that the subscription service provides.
The main difference was in the name of the Steam package. The Steam package of the subscription was always named "GTA+". In the latest change, however, it was renamed to "Steam Sub 1456542". Since this package change was displayed on GTA+'s main changelog, it looked like there were now two different tiers of subscription. However, the main Steam website only showed one.
Soon enough, a reputed insider named Ben, a.k.a @videotechuk_, posted about this change on his X account. Along with posting this, they speculated that this mysterious change could mean that Rockstar might create a new GTA+ tier with different kinds of rewards. They explained the changes made to the package.
The insider also speculated that the new GTA+ tier could also be for the new rumored ROME platform, which Rockstar might be working on.
Furthermore, since many fans are expecting some news at the start of November, this small change in the GTA+ Steam package will spark even more discussions and hype on the internet.
As of now, Rockstar Games have not officially announced anything about a new subscription tier or about ROME.
