Mirra Andreeva and Alexandra Eala share warm camaraderie after the match, expressing joy at the chance of getting to share court with each other. The former even joked about Eala going easy on her on court during the post-match interview.

“I feel better than yesterday, but I really have to thank Alex for taking it easy on me today, because otherwise I felt like I wouldn't stand a chance against her,” said Mirra Andreeva.

The Filipina, meanwhile, returned the favor by thanking Andreeva and the fans for taking out time to share such special moments with her ahead of the New Year.

“I know it’s a very special time of the year, so thank you so much. I really had a good time sharing the court with Mirra, of course, and all of you so this experience was just so great for me,” Alexandra Eala said.

Both Andreeva and Eala will now eye a strong start to the 2026 season, which gets underway with the Australian Open swing. The latter is set to make her debut at the season’s opening Grand Slam next year.
