The World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk has made a shocking revelation about his WWE schedule. The star is currently the top champion on the red brand.

Punk has been one of the biggest babyfaces for the company ever since his return in 2023. He had stellar rivalries with the likes of Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Gunther, and John Cena. He became the World Heavyweight Champion after defeating Jey Uso at Saturday Night's Main Event for the vacated title.

Speaking with Mostly Sports this past week, Punk stated that he had been the MVP of cage matches in WWE over the last year. He noted that he competed inside Hell in a Cell and then the WarGames match. The Best in the World pointed out that he also faced off against Gunther in a series of cage matches during the holiday tour. He joked that somebody in the creative team may be trying to kill him.

"For some reason last year, I was like a cage match all-star, like, MVP. I was just doing cage matches left and right. Did Hell in a Cell, did WarGames. And then, they're like, 'Hey, we're going to do a bunch of Christmas live events, and we're going to put you in a cage with Gunther.' And I was like, 'Oh, cool.' So, maybe somebody might be trying to kill me." (H/T Wrestling Inc)
