On Saturday afternoon, two American Little League teams will clash in Williamsport to determine who will represent the Stars and Stripes in the Little League World Series championship game: Nevada (Mountain region) and Ohio (Great Lakes region).
Since the quarterfinals, both of these sides have been dominant. Neither squad has allowed an opponent within a five-run striking distance by the time handshake lines are being walked through. Paseo Verde Little League, hailing from Henderson, Nev., enters this game without a tally in the loss column during their Williamsport run. They've even previously beaten this Great Lakes team back on August 21 by a score of 6-5 through a thrilling walk-off victory.
West Side Little League, of Hamilton, Ohio, is looking to avenge this narrow defeat, and what better way to do so than with a trip to the tournament championship on the line. Saturday afternoon's game should be a fun watch; fans should make an effort to tune into this battle featuring two high-flying teams.

The pair met on Friday, Aug. 21, when Nevada trailed all game until they walked it off in the sixth inning in electric fashion. This game was Ohio's only loss of the tournament thus far.
