LeBron James is celebrating his wife's milestone birthday with a sweet message.

The NBA superstar shared a photo of him and Savannah James holding hands in a post on Instagram on Thursday, Aug. 27, in celebration of her 40th birthday.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY QUEEN!!! WE ALL ARE READY TO CELEBRATE YOU!! ESPECIALLY ME! YOU’RE DESERVING OF ALL THE LOVE & VIBEZ YOU’LL RECEIVE TODAY & BEYOND!! LOVE YOU & EVA," LeBron wrote in the caption alongside brown heart, sparkles, and infinity emojis before concluding his message, "LET’S GET IT!"

The photo LeBron chose to celebrate his wife's birthday was from their appearance at the 2026 ESPYS last month. Savannah wore a black gown with feathered details at the bottom that also featured a plunge neckline. As for LeBron, he wore a black tailored suit, matching black dress shoes, and black sunglasses on the red carpet.

LeBron James and Savannah James' relationship

LeBron and Savannah are high school sweethearts and got married in 2013. The couple shares three children: sons LeBron "Bronny" and Bryce Maximus, and daughter Zhuri Nova.

Back in October, LeBron opened up about his relationship with Savannah and raising their three children together.

“My wife comes from a two-parent household and siblings in the house,” LeBron told Savannah and April McDaniel during an October episode of their podcast Everyboy's Crazy. “I don't come from that."

The NBA superstar shared insight about his own struggle from his upbringing, where he did not have his father present, which contributed to their complicated relationship to the present day.

He continued, "It was my mom and my uncles, and then just friends and girls and guys just coming in, you know? S—, that's what I grew up on. So, me settling down and deciding that she’s going to be the one that's in the house, giving her the key or the garage door code, that s— was different, bro.”

LeBron has been present for all of his children's interests in sports as Bronny played alongside him for two seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers. Bryce is currently on the basketball team at the University of Arizona, and Zhuri has taken up volleyball.

While the chapter of LeBron playing alongside Bronny has ended following his commitment to the Philadelphia 76ers next season, we're certain his family will be present in support of the NBA legend's next chapter.
