The ATP Finals released the official group photo of the 2025 edition participants, including Carlos Alcaraz, Ben Shelton, Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, Alex de Minaur and Taylor Fritz. However, there were several reasons for fans to call them out.

For one, the photo misses two players. Novak Djokovic hasn't arrived in Turin yet, while it is left to be determined who between Felix Auger‑Aliassime (Canada) and Lorenzo Musetti (Italy) will claim the final spot.

Some fans said ATP Finals organizers rushed themselves in releasing the official photo. Meanwhile, others called out the misaligned photoshoot.

"Literally missing two guys. Couldn’t wait a day or tow?" one fan asked. "There’s no tailors in Turin?" another added. "Novak is still in Athens," one fan commented. "Why not wait for the next two players??" another fan added. "Carlos and Alex are almost the same height! Why are they making Alex look like a dwarf," one fan commented. "It’s silly: because of the calendar, the photo of the eight finalists has only six players in it, while FAA is actually in Turin, most likely will be one of the eight, but still can’t be in the photo…" one fan reacted. "The ugliest ATP photo I’ve ever seen. I thought it was photoshopped or AI. And why does Ben Shelton look like a tiny little child? Like this is a nightmare!" one fan posted.

Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner lead ATP Finals draw as top seeds

Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner enter this tournament as the top seeds. Sinner reclaimed his No. 1 ranking by winning the Paris Masters, where the Spaniard conceded his match against Cameron Norrie to lose his top spot.

The duo has been divided into two groups of four players each. The Jimmy Connors Group features Alcaraz (1), Novak Djokovic (4), Taylor Fritz (6) and Alex de Minaur (7). On the other hand, the Björn Borg Group includes Sinner (2), Alexander Zverev (3), Ben Shelton (5) and Felix Auger‑Aliassime or Lorenzo Musetti (8).

The tournament is scheduled from 9 November to 16 November 2025 and will take place at Inalpi Arena on indoor hard courts. The group stage will be played in a round robin format and the first two players in the standings will advance to the semifinals.

Sinner, who won the 2024 ATP Finals title and is the current World No. 1, will look to defend his crown.
