The Charlotte Hornets earned a win Tuesday night against the Kings, defeating Sacramento in blowout fashion, 134-90.

The Hornets were hot from three-point range, finishing with 26 made threes on 47% shooting from downtown.

Charlotte's 26 made three-pointers tied a franchise record for most in a single game and fell three shy of the NBA all-time record for made threes in a game.

LaMelo Ball made six of them, passing Dell Curry for second on the franchise list in the process.

Coby White also hit six, finishing with a game-high 27 points off the bench.

Rookie sensation Kon Knueppel joined in as well, knocking down four three-pointers in seven attempts.

With 10 games remaining for Charlotte, Knueppel is closing in on one of the most efficient rookie seasons of all-time.

In 71 games played, Knueppel is averaging 48.7% from the field, 43.6% from three-point range and 87% from the free-throw line.

According to StatMuse, Knueppel has the highest three-point percentage ever for a player averaging three or more made three-pointers per game, ranking just ahead of both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

With the victory, the Hornets won their fourth consecutive game and are now tied for ninth in the Eastern Conference as a result.

That said, they'll face a tough remaining schedule including two games against the New York Knicks and two games against the Boston Celtics.

Charlotte will also have to play Detroit Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves once.

They'll return to the court once again Thursday, hosting the aforementioned Knicks.
