Juan Soto enjoyed a sparkling maiden season with the Mets, producing a career-high in home runs as well as a glistening .921 OPS.
No feat was more impressive than Soto's base-running exploits, however. The patient slugger, long considered lead-footed, posted a career-best 38 stolen bases, embracing his inner sprint as he whisked around the bags.
On Friday, his gleaming legs failed him. Soto was forced to leave New York's matchup after appearing to suffer a leg injury.
