Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid was not happy about being held out of the team’s 153-131 victory over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night due to illness, and he let his feelings be known following Philly’s win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night.
Embiid was angered to find out that he was being held out of the game online, and he directed questions about the situation to Sixers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey.
"I was pissed off," Embiid said of the situation. "I wanted to play basketball. I wasn't allowed to play basketball. So, I think this is more of a question on Daryl Morey and whoever makes the decisions.”
