The Los Angeles Dodgers took a 2-1 lead in the 2025 World Series with a 6-5 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday. The game ended in the bottom of the 18th inning, courtesy of a walk-off homer from Freddie Freeman.

Baseball fans were on the edge of their seats as the game spanned almost seven hours. Several celebrities from the sporting world showed their love for baseball on X after Freeman clinched the game for the Dodgers.

King is a minority owner of the Dodgers. Earvin "Magic" Johnson, a part-owner of the team, also reacted on X. While King hailed Freeman, Johnson's praise was directed to Shohei Ohtani and the pitchers.

Yankees legend CC Sabathia praised relief pitcher Will Klein, who was among the heroes of the victory, along with Freeman and Ohtani.

Philadelphia 76ers' big man Joel Embiid paid close attention to the game. Since he had to play on Tuesday, Embiid wanted the game to finish as soon as possible.

Shortly after Embiid's prayer, Freeman hit the home run, resulting in the former NBA MVP praising the Dodgers' first baseman.

Embiid's fellow NBA colleagues, such as James Harden, Kevin Huerter, and Donovan Mitchell, also commented on the game.

Celebs flock to watch Dodgers vs Blue Jays Game 3 in LA

After two games at the Rogers Center, Game 3 at the Dodger Stadium witnesses several celebrities in attendance. Also at the game was Hideo Nomo, who threw the ceremonial first pitch. Nomo, a Japanese legend, played for the Dodgers in two separate stints [1995 to 1998 and 2002 to 2004].

Justin Bieber, Jeff Goldblum, Erick Dickerson, Sandy Koufax, Justin Herbert, and more watched the game live. Bieber was at the game with his wife, Hailey, cheering for the Blue Jays. Herbert was with his girlfriend, Madison Beer, a singer-songwriter.

Rising Hollywood heartthrob Jacob Elordi made his allegiance clear as he sported a Dodgers hat. So did Dickerson, the legendary running back of the Los Angeles Rams.
