Injury report: Victor Wembanyama, Coby White and more ahead of Spurs vs. Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets wrap up a four-game Western Conference road trip Saturday afternoon, facing the San Antonio Spurs.

The Hornets defeated San Antonio earlier this season, holding on to win by a score of 111-106.

A victory would mark Charlotte's third consecutive win after defeating the Trail Blazers and Kings.

As for the Spurs, they're hoping to bounce back after a five-point loss to the Denver Nuggets Thursday.

However, there's a chance that both teams will be forced to play shorthanded.

For San Antonio, both Victor Wembanyama and rookie guard Dylan Harper have been listed as questionable.

If Wembanyama is unable to suit up for the Spurs, it would be a huge loss, as the French star is averaging 24.2 points, 11.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and three blocks per game.

Just like San Antonio, Charlotte also has a center and a backup guard on their injury report.

For the Hornets, rookie Ryan Kalkbrenner has been listed as probable due to illness while the recently acquired Coby White has the same designation with a heel injury.

Tidjane Salaun and Liam McNeely have both been ruled out due to calf and ankle injuries.

For the Spurs, a victory would bring them within three games of the Oklahoma City Thunder for the top seed in the Western Conference.

A victory for Charlotte would place them one game behind the Philadelphia 76ers for the ninth seed in the East.

If the first matchup between these two sides is any indication of what's to come, fans should be in store for another exciting matchup.
