Ace India pacer Jasprit Bumrah produced a brilliant delivery to dismiss Simon Harmer on Day 2 (Sunday, November 23) of the second Test against South Africa. The match is being played at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.

The wicket came on the very first ball of the 144th over of South Africa’s first innings. Bumrah delivered a length ball that angled in around off stump before straightening sharply. Harmer, who played slightly inside the line, was squared up as the ball zipped past the outside edge and crashed into the off stump.

On Day 2, Muthusamy and Verreynne continued to frustrate the hosts as India failed to make an early breakthrough. The Proteas went to tea at 316/6 after 111 overs. In the second session, Ravindra Jadeja finally provided India’s first wicket of the day, breaking the 88-run stand and dismissing Verreynne for 45 off 122 balls.
