Former WWE Superstar Lana (aka CJ Perry) recently took to social media to share a personal update. She uploaded a video with her husband, Rusev.

Lana performed in World Wrestling Entertainment between 2013 and 2021. After getting released from the company, the real-life CJ Perry made a few appearances in WWE's rival company, AEW, where her husband, Rusev, performed under the ring name Miro. The husband-wife duo has now returned to the Stamford-based promotion. The former United States Champion has returned as an in-ring competitor, but his wife has signed a Legends contract with the company.

CJ Perry recently took to Instagram to share a personal update. She shared a video with Rusev from their day out at the F1 paddock. In the post's caption, Lana thanked Red Bull for giving her and her husband paddock passes for F1.

"Thank you @redbullracing @redbull for these sick Paddock Passes for @f1 !!!!!!!!!!! @tobemiro 👊🤭," she wrote.

Lana revealed that she "apparently retired" after her WWE release in 2021

During a recent edition of former WWE star Sonya Deville's Unwrapped podcast, Lana revealed that she had decided to retire from professional wrestling after her release from the Stamford-based promotion in 2021.

The real-life CJ Perry also mentioned that she was blessed to be on a "higher-paying tier" during her time in World Wrestling Entertainment as an in-ring performer.

"I got signed in 2013, and then I apparently retired in 2021. Apparently retired. No, [On if her contract expired] I actually had three more years on my contract. Yeah, I got released. I was on a 5-year contract. I covered two, which was such a great blessing because I was on a higher-paying tier, which was so awesome. Yeah. But it got cut short," she said.

It remains to be seen if Lana will show up alongside Rusev once again on the Stamford-based promotion's weekly programming.
