Jade Cargill came out for the first time as the WWE Women's Champion following her victory over Tiffany Stratton. She was hijacked by an 18-time Champion following her four-word message.
The crowd went wild as Jade Cargill made her triumphant entrance as the new WWE Women's Champion. It looked like we were going to get a big promo to introduce us to the Cargill era, but surprisingly enough, she simply said, "I am that b**ch" and threw the mic down. But following this, as she made her exit, she was cut off.
It was Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. It was clear that WWE was teasing a dream match between Flair and Jade Cargill, and as The Queen walked forward, Cargill threw up a challenge by telling her that she'll be ready whenever Charlotte is. Charlotte Flair, the 18-time Champion, tried to go after her, but Alexa Bliss had to pull her away. This was a huge dream match being teased.
Interestingly enough, there was one specific interaction that came to mind following this segment. In late 2023, WWE was just beginning to introduce its marquee signing, Cargill, to everybody. She was introduced to Charlotte Flair by Triple H, with Flair already knowing who she was.
This was the first major tease, and after two long years, the bout was teased yet again. It's going to be interesting to see what happens as Flair and Bliss appear to be WarGames-bound following the official main roster debut of Lash Legend, who has now aligned herself with Nia Jax.
It's going to be interesting to see where the women's division goes with Jade Cargill at the helm. Tiffany Stratton was a huge name and carried the women's division on SmackDown for over ten months, but it is time for a new era now.
