Karl-Anthony Towns can’t stay off the New York Knicks’ injury report to start the 2025-26 season.
The five-time All-Star has appeared in the franchise’s first three regular-season games, but is clearly banged up to kick off his 11th NBA campaign.
Towns is among the four contributors on New York’s injury report ahead of the organization’s road contest against the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night.
Is Karl-Anthony Towns playing vs. the Bucks tonight?
Towns, unlike Miles McBride (out for personal reasons), Mitchell Robinson (out with a left ankle injury), and Yabusele Guerschon (questionable with a left knee sprain), is listed as probable with the same right quad strain that’s been nagging him as of late.
Towns, who averaged 24.4 points and 12.8 rebounds per game with the Knicks last season, has been a double-double machine again so far this year.
The Kentucky product is coming off an impressive 15-point and 18-rebound performance against the Miami Heat, but it wasn’t enough to propel the Knicks to regular-season victory No. 3.
Through three contests, Towns is contributing 20 points and 14 rebounds per game while shooting 40.5% from the field and 38.9% from three-point land.
It’s safe to say that as long as the 7-foot stretch five is on the hardwood, the Knicks will have a chance to succeed regardless of the opponent.
