Cody Rhodes is set to defend his title at the 41st edition of Saturday Night's Main Event on November 1, 2025. The event will feature some high-profile matches, and at least one new champion is guaranteed to be crowned at the event, after Seth Rollins had to vacate his World Championship due to injury.

The event will also see Drew McIntyre challenge Rhodes in a rematch from Wrestlepalooza. Wrestling veteran Bill Apter believes that it's finally time for Drew McIntyre to get what he's due and have a proper reign with a world title, after being deserving of one for a long time.

Speaking on the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's UnSKripted, Apter was asked if McIntyre would win the Undisputed WWE Championship at SNME. He responded by stating he wants that to happen and also wants to see a gradual heel turn for the current champion, Cody Rhodes.

"I want to see that. I'm not sick of Cody by any means, but I wanna see this. Give Drew his due, that would've been a good magazine headline. Yeah, I wanna see Drew do this, and I wanna see a slow heel turn on Cody Rhodes finally," Apter said.

Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes have been involved in this heated rivalry for several weeks now. The Scottish Warrior was unsuccessful in dethroning Cody at Wrestlepalooza and will now get a second chance at SNME. If Drew ultimately ends up winning the title this Saturday, he should count himself extremely lucky.

The two-time WWE World Champion wasn't originally scheduled to face Cody at the event. The American Nightmare was supposed to face Jacob Fatu, but the former US Champion had to get some dental work done, ruling him out of the event.
