The Washington Commanders need more out of wide receiver Deebo Samuel in the Week 10 game against the Detroit Lions with No. 1 wideout Terry McLaurin out yet again due to injury.
Making matters worse for Washington, the team is also without quarterback Jayden Daniels after he dislocated his elbow last week.
Unfortunately, Samuel isn't doing what the Commanders need early on in the contest against the Lions on Sunday afternoon.
Here's a closer look at what's going on.
Is Deebo Samuel playing today?
Yes, Samuel is active and in the lineup, he just hasn't been targeted yet.
Things will not be easy for Samuel on Sunday, as not only can the Lions focus in on him with McLaurin out, he also has to overcome a downgrade at quarterback with Marcus Mariota.
Hopefully Samuel gets going soon, but we wouldn't count on it.
