Dan Lanning's No. 6 Oregon has enjoyed an excellent start to the 2025 season. However, amid multiple coaching jobs up for grabs across the country, there have been rumors that Lanning might leave the Ducks.
On Thursday, Lanning appeared on the "Rich Eisen Show" to address his stance with the Ducks moving forward.
“It’s zero. Yeah, I’m not leaving Oregon," Lanning said. "As long as I win, that’s what I always tell my kids. If your dad wins, we’ll be at Oregon. So I’ve got to win. That’s how it changes.”•

Lanning also said he wants to continue building his team at Oregon.
"It makes me grateful for where I'm at and recognizing how fragile and special it is," Lanning said. "It motivates you to keep working hard because it makes you realize how temporary things can be if you're not moving in the right direction."The LSU Tigers fired Brian Kelly from his coaching role at the program on Sunday. While some linked Lanning to LSU, the Oregon coach has made it clear he has no plans to leave the Ducks.
Oregon hired Lanning in December 2021. He led the team to the Big Ten championship last season.
According to reports, Lanning earns $10.4 million a year at Oregon. He is reportedly the sixth-highest-paid college football coach in the country.
